The first council of the Frankish church under Boniface, with Carloman's authority behind it: bishops restored to sees that had gone vacant, priests examined, clergy forbidden to hunt or bear arms, and surviving pagan observance named and banned. The reform of the Frankish church starts here.

⚠ the date is disputed — 742 and 743 are both defended. The 740 the event used to carry is gone: Haddan & Stubbs III. 383 print the capitulary dating itself XI kal. Maii DCCXLII in the heading and again in Carloman's preface, so the event now reads 742 and the 742-against-743 argument is what is left. Recorded rather than smoothed
