The bodies that act: 12 institutions, their founders and their seats. 5 of them carry no foundation year at all — three are known from Lives, which narrate without dating, and the fourth from a chronicle that tells the story under an annal it does not mean as the date. Rather than borrow a year, each names a dated person who fixes when it stood.
