Canons of the Synod of Isaac

The council at which the Church of the East received Nicaea and organized itself as a church of the Persian empire rather than an outpost of the Roman one: the catholicos of Seleucia-Ctesiphon set over all the bishops of the realm, the sees ranked, the Roman Easter adopted. It met with the Persian king's permission and a Roman ambassador in attendance. The Church of the East dates its canonical order from this synod.
