Pothinus the bishop, Blandina the slave, Ponticus who was fifteen, and the rest of the two churches, kept together on 2 June because they died together in one week of one August and because their own survivors wrote them up in a single letter. Both calendars keep the same day and neither has more than a commemoration of it: the Roman Martyrology names Pothinus, Sanctus, Attalus and Blandina with their companions, and the Byzantine books read the hieromartyr Pothinus with Blandina and Ponticus. Wikidata gives each name a bare day of its own with no church attached, which is how one commemoration arrived here as several.
