The Theophany — the Baptism of the Lord

The older of the two winter feasts, and in the East the greater: the baptism in the Jordan and the voice from heaven. Rome kept the day for the coming of the Magi and calls it the Epiphany; the Armenians never divided it from the Nativity at all.
