The Coptic Orthodox Church numbers its patriarchs from Mark the Evangelist without a break, and the count has not stopped: Tawadros II, enthroned in 2012, is the 118th. This dataset stops at the Great Schism, so it holds only the first sixty-five or so of that line. The chain does not end where the dataset does — several of these lines are still being added to, and a few of them are older than every state their sees now sit in.
