Chrismation at the font

The East gives it in the same service as the baptism, with myron consecrated by the bishop — so the bishop is present in the oil rather than in the room.

A form of Chrismation — The anointing that completes baptism. The two traditions do not disagree about it; they disagree about when, and that turns out to divide a great deal else.
