A world chronicle continued to the sack of Rome by Genseric, by the layman of seed 182. Its entry for 431 — that Palladius was ordained by Celestine and sent as first bishop to the Irish believing in Christ — is the earliest dated notice of Christianity in Ireland and the only contemporary one. Gennadius lists the chronicle among his works. Cited here, never quoted.
