Brosset's FRENCH translation of the Georgian Chronicle (Kartlis Tskhovreba) for the Imperial Academy at St Petersburg — the narrative that carries the conversion under Nino and Mirian and the bishops of Mtskheta. Read under the translation policy: facts taken, the prose here ours. Public domain by imprint date, confirmed at archive.org 12 Aug 2026, and in bronze the same day. ⚠ THE FIRST FETCH TOOK THE WRONG VOLUME and it is worth recording how that was caught: bub_gb_TmtpAAAAMAAJ is the 'Introduction et Tables des matieres' — the index, with none of the Annals in it — and the mismatch was only findable because the bytes were in bronze to be opened and counted. The volume now held is histoiredelagor00fgoog: Mtzkhetha 101 occurrences against 20, Mirian 48, Nino 39. ⚠ REGISTERED AS A LICENCE-CLEAN ROUTE AROUND BEDROSIAN, whose translations remain unresolved and whose ruling is the owner's: Brosset covers the same Mtskheta bishops from the Georgian side, in a translation whose licence is not in doubt. ⚠ A CHRONICLE, NOT A FASTI: it narrates and its chronology is the part editors correct, so it is cited as the witness to the succession and not to the years. Le Quien's Iberian fasti (t. I coll. 1339-1340) cannot substitute — it opens at Cyrinus c. 605 and holds none of this dataset's three georgia holders.
