They can equally be one man - AU 811 has 'Nuadha of Loch-Uamha, bishop, anchorite, and abbot of Ard-Macha.' The received list this project holds is the COMARBS of Patrick, which Hennessy's own notes take from the Book of Leinster's list of 'the comarbs, or successors, of St. Patrick in the abbacy (or episcopacy) of Armagh' - a list that does not separate the two. So a bishop like Affiath belongs to no line here and must not be quietly added to armagh. ⚠ HAZARD TWO, NOT PREVIOUSLY NOTICED: Hennessy prints the manuscript year and the corrected one - 'Kal. Jan. A.D. 927 (alias 928)' - because AU antedates by a year through much of this range. A dating pass that takes the headline year puts 27 obits a year early.
